We just made a lovely trio of hair pins for the loveliest bride, Andy, and we couldn't be more in love with the minimalist style she chose.
Andy originally contacted us enquiring about the MARIPOSA HAIR PINS but wasn't sure which colour to pick for her black hair. While it is true that metallic colours such as gold, silver and rose gold match with any colour, finding the right tone for your hair colour and texture is no easy task. Over several emails, Andy shared images of her bridal jewellery and we instantly agreed that her hair piece had to be silver for a perfect match.
THE CUSTOMISATION
When Andy mentioned she wasn't especially looking for a dramatic hair piece with floral details we immediately knew she was after a more minimalist bridal look with leafy elements only. After many more photos and further discussion about her bridal hairstyle and her wedding veil, Andy and her bridesmaids set their hearts on a trio of hair pins that would crown her low bun, covered by her fingertip veil.
THE STYLING
These hair pins would adorn any kind of hairstyle but they were designed here to compliment the top of Andy's neat and classic low bun. They could also be worn on the side of the bun if worn with a blusher veil or on top of it. They could then be removed and pinned back into the hair after the veil is back in place, flowing over the bun.
THE BRIDE STYLING [update]
We just received gorgeous photos of bride Andy with her hair pins scattered in her low bun and her fingertip veil placed on top.
